Stable hygiene

Various types of micro-organisms occur in animal stables, such as viruses, moulds, bacteria and parasites, which under certain conditions can cause diseases.

These are frequently caused by higher germ counts, leading to infection, damp, slippery ground, bad air and dirt. Hygiene management, consisting of regular and careful cleaning and disinfection, effectively combats inadequate stable hygiene.

Good stable hygiene is an essential requirement for healthy animal stocks, making an important contribution to the productivity of a business.
